In Memory of Sophie

In early November, 2012, we euthanized Sophie. Losing Sophie has been heartbreaking for all of us, but most especially for her foster mom, Karen Williams, who took her in to her home in October of 2011. She had such high hopes for Sophie, we all did. Bernie came from the Brampton Animal Shelter in Brampton, Ontario. He was brought to the shelter by a concerned neighbor, who often saw the energetic little dog running around loose in the street and knew it was only a matter of time before he would be hit by a car. Zena, Princess Warrior on Wheels

When this little three year old French Bulldog went down in the rear and lost her ability to use her hind legs, her owner did the unthinkable – she took Zena to the local kill shelter and left her there.
